What made you come to work to bizkaia?

The offer of the CIC Biogune and the possibility of continuing research in hypoxia-related pathologies so as to apply this knowledge to the treatment of diseases such as cancer, ischemia or glomerulonephritis.

Pharmacy graduate from the University of Navarra. 1989.
Special degree from the Free University of Brussels.
Doctor in Sciences from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid.1996.
2007 Award of the Kidney Foundation Iñigo Alvarez de Toledo in the Basic Science category.
Researcher in the laboratory directed by Dr J. Pouyssegur from the CNRS (French Public Research Centre).
At present she is studying hypoxia-related pathologies in the CIC Biogune, in Zamudio.
